Extreme brightness powered by three Luxeon Rebel 100 LEDs. Adjustable headband with 3M reflective strap at the back. Microprocessor-controlled Luxeon LED, light beam reaches up to 105 meteres. Runs on 3x1.5V D size batteries (not included), up to 8 hours at 100% brightness. Battery pack is connected to the main unit thru a power cord (3 ft long), allows attachment on harness, belt or carrying in backpack. The design is to reduced heavy weight on the headlamp. Easy dial switch between four different modes - high, med, low and SOS-flashing. Thanks to the cutting-edge thermal control and battery control technologies, the headlamp enable longer continuous use time and greater comfort. Once the headlamp reaches 45 degree C, the protective circuitry will kick in to adjust the current. The light will dim down and prevent further rise in working temperature. The battery control function will automatically reduces the light output and extends the burn time. This also signals for a battery change, prevent the sudden off from dead-battery situation.
