Product Description LX 3.0 FLASHLIGHT, WHITE LED, SILVER
Amazon.com Review This Gerber LX3.0 flashlight shines bright and is most light. A stunningly bright (for its size) 3-watt LED bulb can illuminate objects up to 150 feet away. An aluminum aircraft body houses the fail-proof circuit driver and virtually indestructible bulb. When equipped with 3 AA batteries, this little Gerber can generate up to 50 hours of burn time.

Gerber LED Flashlight July 4, 2006 Bob Foley aka RDF (New York) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This flashlight performs as advertised. It is also lightweight and so I keep it on cord around the neck. It is also compact yet gives off a very powerful and concentrated beam of blue-white light. Amazon was the best price I found anywhere for this item.
Rugged, powerhorse with AA batteries July 2, 2009 Larry Diamond (Austin, TX USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a very verstile flashlight that will have many uses both at home, in the car, and out camping. First it uses three AA batteries. Traditionally flaslights this powerful needed a bunch of D batteries which is a hassle for many reasons. With LEDs of course, good lightout could be achieved which much less power.
We have a closet we call the 'closet of doom'. Up till now no flashlight could, for better or worse, illuminate all the deep corners and recesses of the closet. The Gerber can. My only complaint is that the length of the flashlight makes it slightly awkward to handle and maybe reduces the situations in which you could stow it away. But 3 AAs back to back take up X amount of space. Not sure how they could get around this until they come up with a 2 AA one.
In the end, great amount of light, rugged construction, lifetime guarantee. This is now our go-to flashlight at home and for camping as well.
Stays Cool Silver Gerber LX 3.0 Flashlight May 18, 2008 GEORGE E. NEWMAN (West Hartford, CT) 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
This light is really bright AND unlike other leds this light stays cool to the touch. I would speculate (really just wondering) that Gerber actually thought about this to keep it cool. LED flashlights are clear and truly really light up the area. I have a SureFire L2 at three times the price but WOW it gets VERY hot quickly. This Gerber is THE light
Back for three more June 27, 2009 James F. Driscoll (Hudson,Ma.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Over the years,I've purchased 8 or 9 of these flashlights.
I placed one in every family car (6 cars = 6 flash lights)
Now I'm back for three more for around the house.
I've carried flashlights both in My job and scouting and camping with the boys. None could compare with the Gerber flashlight.
Especially when anyone goes overnight fishing I make them take two of these flashlights and spare batteries.
Great camp and tent light when roughing it.
wow. nicer than i expected June 15, 2009 Anonymous10,000 I only bought this b'cause it was a goldbox offer for 30 bucks. I'm glad I did. This is nicer than my LED Lenser flashlight that I paid a lot more for from Crane's. It's not as bright or compact as the Lenser, but it's fit and finish is much nicer and it's a great fit in the hand, great balance. The Gerber is a lot brighter than the two Brinkman LEDs that I have, both of which are plastic. While well-made, they're nothing special. I really like the simplicity of the gerber, the end-cap is the switch, just turn it. Mine is a matte gunmetal, not shiny like the pic on amazon. great buy at 30 bucks or even more.
