| Customer Reviews: Great flashlight - use at work everyday. October 23, 2009 Robert Woyner (Chicago) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Strong light & holds up well under hard use. Batteries last longer than most other flashlites. It's nice to have the U.V. to take a quick look for leaks, when using tracer dye. I always have this light in my pocket or on my belt. The clip for the holster could be a little stronger, but overall a great product.

I love this light. It is super bright, durable, and the red light helps preserve night vision. Like I said... I love this light.
Great light - if you can find it August 12, 2009 D (Seattle) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use this light to check for UV ink on IDs, and it works great. The 3 UV LEDs are so bright they almost wash out the ink, but it is definitely visible. The 3 white LEDs splash light on an area (no beam), but that's indicative of all LED flashlights. The holster is not good, it has a clip for your belt, but it fits so tightly that you end up pulling the whole thing off as opposed to pulling the flashlight out.
Now the fun part, the Sportsman's Guide doesn't carry the item in stock. It gets shipped directly from the factory. I placed my order on 7-10-09, find out it won't ship until 7-31-09, and then have the order canceled on 7-30-09. I called and found out why, Coast stopped making the light. I found another seller that had it in stock.
Over a month later, both Amazon and The Sportsman's guide still have the light available for purchase? Bad form.
Flashlight = 4/5 for the holster problems and the UV being a little bright
Sportsman's guide = 0/5 for poor handling of the order and poor management of online content
mixed July 28, 2010 sapientum consilium Great all around product. White light is great. But... the black light is dim in my opinion. The buttons are just a touch loose. I still have a great opinion of the brand and own several lights that I am very impressed with. Don't buy this model solely for it's ultra violet light.
Good for some tasks July 8, 2007 C. Lacoste (Block Island, RI United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered this flashlight because i work in a bar, and uv lights are a quick, easy way to detect fake id's. The white lights on this product are increadably bright for LED's, but the uv led is the wrong wavelength for reading ceartain types of ID's. It works great on those with white uv ink, such as RI, CT, and PA, but on ID's with colored uv ink (CA, MA, MI), it doesn't work at all.
