| Customer Reviews: Maglite LED February 9, 2007 Byron O. Fraser (NYC,New York USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
One of the best LED flash lights that I've bought, very good with battery life ,throws a good bright strong beam of adjustable light.
maglite all the way August 16, 2009 seatrue 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Am very happy with this light. Has a solid, sort of perfected feel to it; like it'll last for decades and if dropped say 20 ft on concrete, will unquestionably still work - no problem. It seems to me like a lot of work went into upgrading the mini maglite to LED. Very useful all around; not to bright to use indoors, yet plenty bright for the outdoors - focuses well to throw a good distance.
Battery life is great with lithium aa batteries. Lasts close to five hours with consistent brightness (not nearly so much with the alkalines). Also will last at least another 6-8 hours (got tired of waiting) at a dimmer but usable level. Overall, this is a bargain at $20.
Very good September 5, 2010 tom Pretty bright, but what's really good is that I've used it almost daily in my job since buying it back in April, and haven't changed the batteries yet. That's over 5 months. Seems as solid as a maglite is suposed to be.
Too heavy to hold in your mouth December 21, 2007 Lando (Happy Land, IL) 8 out of 16 found this review helpful
I do a lot of work that requires both hands, which means I hold my flashlight with my mouth. This tool is way too heavy for this. Unfortunately, so is the 2 AA LED version. The regular AA mini mag is nice and light, I don't know why they bulked up the 2 AA LED version. I know they sell a mouth piece for the flashlight, but it's already weird enough that I put my flashlight in my mouth. I don't need to announce it to the world by putting a mouth piece, which will end up drenched in my drool on the end of it.
