excellent price to quality May 21, 2007 Geoffrey F. Beneze (Tempe, AZ USA) 153 out of 157 found this review helpful
(Edit, addendum 10/13/07)
Now after several months of extended use, it's time to add to the review in light of experience. There is a downside and that is in the (electrical) contact on the back of the LED PCB (printed circuit board). The solder paths create a single lead/tin "button" in the center of the PCB. The positive terminal of the battery holder contacts this "button." This solder "button" tends to oxidize as time goes on, and that makes the passage of current from the battery holder either absent or intermittant. In most cases, whacking the flashlight against the palm of your hand lengthwise will bounce the battery housing enough to break the oxidation layer and everything goes back to normal function.
On the (now many) lights we've purchased and distributed, I took the time to removed the LED pcb and solder multple strands of copper acrosse the end of the button, or, simply solder a small copper circle to the button. In EVERY case, the problem vanished and hasn't returned.
While this is a minor problem, the pricing is such that it can pretty much be ignored. If one is so inclined, the time and effort necessary to effect a permanent repair is minimal and well worth the small effort involved.

Through an Amazon special, I grabbed two of these along with two of the same company's 21 LED lights (also three AAA's). As another reviewer mentioned, these are "field" units and are susceptible to getting lost or damaged. Fundamentally, that requires that they be of a "disposable" prices.
After receiving the initial order, I ordered another 6, one for each car, one for each child, one for the wife's purse and a couple of spares for me, etc, etc.
Good quality, good light, good design for the prices. VERY good.
The future will tell if the longevity matches the other qualities.

Great little flashlight May 12, 2007 M. A. Davis (Fishers, IN) 16 out of 18 found this review helpful
Excellent construction and brightness. Fits easily in a tool bag or glove box. I am a field service engineer and have lost several expensive flashlights so I decided to go cheap just in case I lost another one. I bought 4 of these, and there's nothing cheap about them except the price.
Best flashlight I have purchased July 8, 2007 James A. Alfaro (Florida, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This little flashlight is superb. It is bright, the batteries last a long time and the LEDs will probably outlive me.
I bought one. I loved it so much I ordered 20 of them and give them to my workers on my coffee plantation, friends and all my Grandkids.
The price is more than right.
Buy one, and you will buy more.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT! June 4, 2007 Richard D. Miller 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought 4 of these 21 LED lights expecting to be at least a little disappointed in some way but I was mistaken! These flashlights work GREAT! They flood the area with very white light and not just inside the house. This is a flood light and as such performs very well. I took one outside and was very suprised to see that it provided a great deal of bright light across a broad area of my back yard. The lights are very sturdy and fit just right in your hand. The 3 cheap batteries that came with the unit don't last long but copper tops and energizers last much better. Buy them you won't be disappointed!
Good Lights December 15, 2007 Mary L. Schrader (East Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The lights arrived quickly and work great. While the lights are not blinding they are great for the ability to drop one in your pocket and not have to wonder if the batteries are dead. The little lights provide plenty of light for checking things under the hood of a car or changing a part at night and couple of them can be used together so that there are no shadows.
