| Customer Reviews: Well-built lights, great price! September 12, 2009 George E. Hall (Harrisburg PA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this big light 'cause I had nothing that size in the house, and wanted one.
The smaller one came along as a bonus, and that's getting most of the use as the standard household flashlight now. I've thrown away too many of those sub-$5 little LED flashlights. In that area, at least, I've learned you get what you pay for....
These two seem as well-built as the Maglights, but they have that nice LED beam. What's not to like?
Great Buy! October 16, 2009 Pappita (Wilmington, DE) This is a great buy, very sturdy, and a bright clear light. I would buy another one.
Great Flashlight July 9, 2009 drsmommy (Oklahoma) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
These are great flashlights, especially for the money. We have used them both around the house. The light is bright white and the beam is easily directed. We love them.
Good value, but not quite a Maglite October 12, 2009 MW (Miramar, Florida United States) These are fairly decent flashlights, but you can tell that they are not quite the same quality as their similar, but more expensive, Maglite cousins. They come with batteries, which is a nice plus, except that the batteries they come with are about the cheapest you can buy and one of the batteries I received (an AA for the smaller light) was completely dead on arrival. At first I thought the flashlight was broken.
I like the fact that they both have push buttons that you press down to turn them on and off as opposed to having to twist one of the ends for that function to occur. I should also note that although the LED bulbs are touted to be long lasting, they don't really produce as strong a beam of light as regular bulbs do. The amount of light produced is adequate, but not nearly as bright or as far reaching.
Overall, I am happy with the purchase and I think, for the cost, they are a fairly good value.
Not much quality here October 8, 2009 Matt L. (Milwaukee, WI USA) I got this flashlight as a gift and thought it was great at first--very bright with all those LEDs, and good heft in the hand. However, the switch stopped working very quickly. The switch consists of a rubber-covered button, and after a few on/off cycles, it now feels like there is just nothing under the button...and I can't get the thing apart to see what's wrong. I would recommend buying something of higher quality, if you want a light that will dependably switch on when the lights are out.
