Power Failure LIght and Nightlight with replaceable batteries December 23, 2008

The nightlight has a standard incandescent lamp that is reasonable, but not too bright. Because it is not running at full intensity it should last a long time (also produces less heat). Other things I like are; if the utility power goes out the LED stays lit about 12 hours on batteries (longer than most others). In addition, the batteries are user replaceable with three AAA Ni-MH cells. Be sure to use only Ni-MH cells so they charge properly and do not overheat. Lastly, the design is decent - plug it into the lower outlet and the upper is still accessible.

Purchased two of these for my parents' bathrooms. Good design that does't block the second outlet. Light last through all night on extened power failure. Will be buying more for myself and other family members.

I got one for everyone. They are a night lite and a safety light for when there is a power failure. Everyone loved them and others asked where we got them.

Finally, an emergency night light with replaceable batteries. It uses 3 AAA NiMh batteries. My wife and I both like this item. With a clear or white 4 watt night light bulb it glows orange which works fine. However, I purchased this knowing I was going to switch out the bulb with an LED night light bulb. My wife likes how dim it is now and I will never have to replace the bulb.
Overall, the appearance of the item blends in well with the bathroom decor and is compact, I would definately buy again.

FANTASTIC!!! Good emergency lighting at home - INVALUABLE for travel!!! Nice night light but could be invaluable if used in a motel room - whether or not there's an emergency. Plug it in and nightlight comes on automatically at dusk. At night, with the nightlight on, it's easy to find it if you need a flashlight. Lose power?? the flashlight automatically comes on as an emergency light. Could be a lifesaver!!!!
