great lamp January 12, 2008 John Rezzonico (Iraq (Steamboat Springs, Co.)) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I actually have the takterra, same thing but it has a flip down red lens. This lamp has served in multiples combat tours in Iraq and has been completely reliable. Battery life is ultra long, I think In the past year I have changed them once.
Cant go wrong

I'm glad I got this headlamp. Power went out this weekend for three hours...was able to get around and even cooked dinner on the gas stove!

was looking for a basic headlamp for my seven year old for a camping trip, and this seemed to be just the thing. has good range. he hds a little trouble finding the sliding on/off switch - a button might be easier - but for this price i was very happy with this purchase.
Great light for night running February 8, 2009 Christopher J. Hill (texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. It is perfect for running the streets after dark. It provides enough light to see any hazards in time to avoid them.

A great little light to keep in your drawer if the power goes out. And cheap too!
