    Petzl LED headlamps

    Petzl is a manufacturer of at-height work equipment, climbing gear, caving gear, and headlamps based in Crolles, France. The company was found by Fernand Petzl, the cave explorer, around the mid of 1970s. Petzl was the first manufacturer that utilize LED (light-emitting diode) technology in their headlamps, resulting in more battery efficient headlamps. This LED technology was subsequently adopted by many other flashlight and headlamps manufacturers in the outdoor industry.

Product Description
This version of the ACE is designed specifically for use on any universal 1-inch flashlight gunmount. The brass insert inside the tube has been removed, allowing the light body a smaller diameter. The circuitry is the same circuit in the classic ACE. However, the reflector has been optimized to remove the "donut" pattern in the hotspot. The extension tube matches the default body style and ergonomics.
