Product Description
The TK12 uses a Cree XP-E LED (R2) powered by two CR123A batteries that are digitally regulated to maintain excellent constant brightness with three mode output system. Each mode has its own High/Low system that can be switched with a simple turn of the head of the flashlight. The Outdoor mode, is designed for more active outdoor use where you need abundant light (woods, trails, fog, etc). The Camping Mode is designed for use around camp where you may only need a slight amount of light for longer period of time (map reading, tent tasks, cooking, etc). Hunting mode can be used whenever high-powered light is needed - search and rescue, long-range target identification, etc. This flashlight is great for camping trips or other outdoor adventures that may last into the night. The TK 12 offers rugged features like a premium hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish, toughened ultra-clear glass lens with anti-reflective coating and tactical tail cap switch with momentary-on function. Included with the flashlight are a holster, lanyard, two spare o-rings, spare rubber switch boot, allen wrench, two spare screws, and copper spacer ring.

5 out of 5 stars GET THIS LIGHT   September 7, 2010
Troy L. Williams (Graham, NC)
After reading numerous reviews on other similiar lights, I purchased this one. Let me just say that I have now had a chance to compare this one to ALL the major brands out there and I was NOT disappointed. My friends who share the same career as I , are now kicking their self in the rear end for paying twice as much for a name brand ( Surefire, Stinger, etc. ). Shipping on time, every thing mentioned included with box, batteries life awesome.

4 out of 5 stars superb flashlight   April 2, 2010

I've only had this light for about 3 weeks now. But I can tell you the initial quality feels excellent. It feels like a strong, well made tool. The light is also super bright. On a dark night at full power, if I point it up it looks like I'm sending the bat signal up in the sky. No joke! The 240 lumens make pitch black darkness almost seem like daylight. The multiple settings, like the 6 lumen setting is awesome and comes in handy more often then you might think. My only complaint is that a few times I've been able to get the light to turn off well the on button was still on. Granted this could have been something I did as I wasn't really paying much attention any of the times it has happened. And when it has happened turning the bezel or hitting the power switch again quickly turned it back on. That's why it's 4 stars

This is one very bright light, the brightest i've ever owned, its virtually blinding even in daylight, the throw distance is very good for such a small light... excellent, the SOS feature is a little tricky, hence my reason for the four stars it is because this feature stopped working after just a month

3 out of 5 stars Great brightness, difficult switching   May 28, 2010

Definitely a bright light on turbo. The ability to switch modes is a must for when all is dark and you only need a little light. The disadvantage is that the twisting switch mechanism is somewhat difficult to get the hang of. If you mostly need one mode it is not a big problem, but if you find the need to change modes it is cumbersome to cycle through the different modes.
