    Petzl LED headlamps

Petzl is a manufacturer of at-height work equipment, climbing gear, caving gear, and headlamps based in Crolles, France. The company was found by Fernand Petzl, the cave explorer, around the mid of 1970s. Petzl was the first manufacturer that utilize LED (light-emitting diode) technology in their headlamps, resulting in more battery efficient headlamps. This LED technology was subsequently adopted by many other flashlight and headlamps manufacturers in the outdoor industry.

Very fine product. I'm a flashlight junkie and this is better than most of the others in my colelction.. Exceptionally versatile and amazingly bright for its size...for any size. Very well made and should be as durable as long as they make batteries for it. Batteries are fairly compact and nicer to travel with than yet another charger.

I am not sure how long beam can go but in short distance and small areas this flashlight turns night in to day really powerful.this flashlights size is really compact to carry in your pocket and also light.and the material of this itemis really strong and there is nothing to worry about just throw it away and take it back start using it again.you cant focus the beam but i dont need it.i strongly RECOMMEND.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic Light   January 31, 2010

Just receive my pd30 r4. I compare it to my other fenix p3d Q5 and the lumens were very noticeable. The lighting Distances seems short but overall very bright.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome flashlight...! Better than any other expensive flash i have used or just up to par.   August 16, 2010

This Flashlight is excellent! I own other flashlights that cost me about $200, but this PD30 is either brighter or just as good as my other flashes.
Do no believe other reviews here that give a bad review on this flash. I was skeptical at first also since i have read a few hater reviews, but you can trust me, this one is definitely worth the money.
Construction (build quality) fees the same as one of my better flashlights. And the price..... wow, blows any higher end flashlight out of the water.
I use this one as my daily carry now since i can trust in it and the surefire just stays at home now... i dont even remember the last time i used my surefire.
Either way, you cannot go wrong with this one.

4 out of 5 stars Awsome Light, Got Overcharged For Shipping   January 10, 2010

This light is the best and is very small.
Dont forget to get the 123 batteries.
I got charged $35 to ship to an APO adress in Iraq. not cool
If you diddnt know, an APO adress is how people can mail to the military overseas and it dosent cost any more than shipping locally
I had to complain to get a refund.

Did I say thay this light is the best?
