| Customer Reviews: Fenix TK20 October 16, 2009 R. Budd This is a very durable flashlight, the weight of it surprised me. I was even further surprised once I put in two lithium cells and turned it on; the the light this puts out is amazing, it throws over 100 feet. I didn't know that was possible with an LED and two AA batteries.
The natural color from the CREE LED is perfect outdoors, makes it easy to distinguish colors and textures. Works great for my intended purpose, Geocaching. It lights up cache hide locations well enough to see the container from a distance, sometimes. ;)
I opted for the yellow grip and even installed the orange button (included) so that it's more visible when I drop it in the woods. The included case and clip are also nice.
Overall, I'd give it two thumbs, way up!
Quite good January 31, 2010 J. Edler (USA) The main feature of this flashlight is how bright it is, and that is true.
I didn't measure the lumens, but it is pretty impressive.
It is also very nicely made, has a good feel, etc.
A few things that might not be obvious from the description:
- It doesn't focus; the beam is fixed.
- For up-close situations, the low level is often too bright.
It would be nice to have a third, lower, brightness level.
- It is a bit fatter and longer than a Mini-Mag.
- The holster that comes with it is ok, but does not match
the quality of the flashlight itself.
