Petzl LED headlamps

Petzl is a manufacturer of at-height work equipment, climbing gear, caving gear, and headlamps based in Crolles, France. The company was found by Fernand Petzl, the cave explorer, around the mid of 1970s. Petzl was the first manufacturer that utilize LED (light-emitting diode) technology in their headlamps, resulting in more battery efficient headlamps. This LED technology was subsequently adopted by many other flashlight and headlamps manufacturers in the outdoor industry.

The TK15 R5 Flashlight by Fenix was designed with two unique improved features for the TK series. The TK15 features a deeper placed reflector which gives it a tighter, longer reaching beam--it goes out to an astounding 215 meters. It also features a side dimmer switch that allows you to access 4 brightness levels. The TK15 is also compatible with gun mount or remote switches for those with a military or hunting interest. The TK15 has a total of 5 types of output and at the highest level can put out 337 lumens. At the lowest level it can run for 142 hours on two CR123A batteries or one 18650 li-ion battery.
